Nokia 5.3 is another mid-range smartphone offering all the features with a solid feel in hands with a plastic back and Glass front that comes with a 6.55” LCD display with 720P resolution.

Nokia 5.3 has the circular camera cutout on the back housing quad-camera setup with an LED flash in middle, there is a physical fingerprint sensor on the back of the phone.

Nokia 5.3 comes in a standard design but interestingly they have included LED notification light on the power button that sits below the volume control buttons.

Though there is no dedicated one-handed mode on this Nokia 5.3 you can pull the notification panel from anywhere and you can also swipe the fingerprint scanner on the back to pull that notification panel.

Nokia 5.3 rocks with lovely pure stock Android One phone based on Android 10, physical fingerprint sensor on the back proves perfectly reliable for unlocking this phone and you also have facial unlocking features.

You have a dedicated Google Assistant button to the left of the Nokia 5.3 which is again not customizable, while you have this volume rocker and power button to the right of the phone.

Nokia 5.3 has LED notification light housed on the power button like the previous Nokia phones, while you get a full NFC support which will be great and has that great 6.55-inch 720P display which is quite enough for watching movies or streaming things.

Even though Nokia 5.3 display screen isn’t crazy bright still manages to make things visible in outdoor conditions, there is a single bottom-firing speaker and we have a dedicated headphone jack if you want to get some wired headphones on the go.

Final Verdict

Nokia 5.3 on the surface seems to be the perfect solution for this price segment with pretty meaty specs with a decent all-rounder performance.

Even though the display is 720P the display is quite sharp and visible in direct sunlight, while the phone comes with a plastic back that makes this phone lighter than others.

Nokia 5.3 has a 3.5mm headphone jack for music lovers, there is still LED notification light on the power button to keep you notified and a dedicated Google Assistant button on the left side.

Nokia 5.3 has pure Android One OS which promises to give latest updates quicker and clean & smoother without any bloatware, while 4 gigs of RAM keeps all things in the background.

Nokia 5.3 houses a quad-camera setup on the back with a 13MP main camera with 4K video recording capabilities with EIS and other lenses like ultra-wide, macro, and depth while at this price range others are offering triple camera.
