Google Assistant’s voice can now recognize up to six more different voices per speaker. Google has been rolling out for some of the additional features for its artificial intelligence-based voice assistant i.e., Google Assistant to some of the various new devices starting within this week. Some of the important features that are added are Voice Match that allows speakers to recognize the voice of the specific users and give a personal response to that person. Users can also adjust the sensitivity for detecting the hot-word which is used to invoke the Google Assistant. This new feature was announced by the Mountain-view based Internet Company through a blog post. These amazing features will be rolling out by the starting of the week to a wider range of smart speakers. However, this full suite of Google Assistant’s feature has already been available for Google’s own smart devices like Google Home, Google Nest Mini smart speakers. After the update, the feature will be available on the Google Assistant, and even on the third-party devices such as Lenovo Smart Clock, Bose Portable Home Speakers, etc. since this voice match is now capable of recognizing up to six different voices for each smart speaker, every member of the family can get the personalized response or can set the specific timer for the same that will be served to that particular user. The detection of the phrase, which could help to overcome accidental invocations or multiple speakers detecting the wake phrase, will be done with the help of the Hot-Water Sensitivity. Additionally, users can also a default speaker that will trigger that speaker for the specific task, regardless of which Google Assistant-powered devices receive the command.
Google Assistant is already available on the smart devices that include smartphones, smart speakers, smart televisions, smart headphones, and many more.
The company claims that the voice assistant allows user to access information or control devices with their voice, offering hand-free convenience regardless of the device which is in use. The company also said that they are planning for the update; due to this several new devices will gain additional capabilities that have thus far been limited to Google’s hardware.
