DFRobot which is very famous robotics and open source hardware designer recently launched HUSKYLENS. HUSKYLENS is basically a AI enabled vision sensor. DFRobot claims to make HUSKYLENS as simplest AI camera module. It has many AI enabled algorithm built in.

Overview

HuskyLens is basically AI based image sensor unit. User can easily change the algorithms using the single button interface. Huskylens can start learning process while running for first time. You can connect it with any Microcontroller unit and play around it. This can be very interesting to make projects for DIY communuity.

The HuskyLens has inbuilt new generation AI chip called Kendryte K210. The main control unit is powered by a Dual core RISC-V 64bit processor. The clock frequency is 400MHz of this unit. The expected performance of AI chip can be 1,000 times faster than STM32 when you are going to run neural network algorithm.

HuskyLens can be connected to other microcontrollers like Arduino, Raspberry Pi, micro:bit, LattePanda.
